The Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP) is a non‑governmental, non‑profit organization based in Athens, Greece, focused on promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and employability skills among young people and professionals. Founded in 2007 by the historical Educational Association of Athens “HFAISTOS,” AKEP works to create a healthier entrepreneurial environment at national and European levels. It facilitates non‑formal entrepreneurial learning through tailored training programs, workshops, and seminars on business planning, soft skills, and technical competencies. AKEP serves as an intermediary organization in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme, connecting new and aspiring entrepreneurs with experienced mentors across Europe. The Academy also participates in events such as Global Entrepreneurship Week and collaborates with public and private organizations to transfer essential knowledge to trainers and entrepreneurs. Its mission emphasizes fostering entrepreneurial attitudes that contribute to sustainable development, innovation, and employability across Greece and the wider European entrepreneurial ecosystem.
