Acacia Eco uses Miyawaki method to grow the forests.It is a technique pioneered by Japanese botanist Dr Akira Miyawaki, It is one of the pioneering methods of forest creation that has been proven to be successful in the most adverse soil and climate conditions. This method copies nature but speeds up the process rapidly. Miyawaki forests can grow into mature ecosystems in just 20 years.Acacia Eco engages with private and public stakeholders for execution of forestation projects in consulting or turn key approach.Tree selection and soil treatment requirements are determined based on the results. Native tree species are selected based on the soil/water, type of site and client preferences. Material like organic manure and saplings are procured, many of this comes from their in house nursery. The soil’s water retention capacity, perforation and available nutrition content is enhanced. Cluster plantation has different tree species planted in close proximity - between 3 to 4 trees in 1 sq. m area . Regular watering and weeding is done for two years post which the forest becomes self sustained.
