Boson White Water is seeking to collaborate with apartment associations to install an advanced water reclamation system using existing STP treated water, with lease setup costs being less than water purchase costs. Their mission is to promote water conservation by assisting IT parks, malls, and apartment complexes in recycling waste water and promoting sustainable water management.
Boson White Water, a Bengaluru-based startup, employs an innovative method to recycle sewage treatment plant (STP) treated water into potable quality water. Their 11-stage filtration process is designed to reduce physical, chemical, and biological contaminants in the treated wastewater.
The system utilizes an IoT platform with AI algorithms to detect anomalies, manage inventories, and optimize manpower. Additionally, Boson White Water's high recovery, low fouling membrane system filters particles down to 0.001 microns, effectively removing viruses and dissolved salts.
Post-filtration, residual bacteria and viruses are eliminated using ultraviolet (UV) disinfection. The cost of their water treatment system ranges from 8 to 14 paise per liter, depending on contaminants, with installation costs around Rs 35-37 lakh for a 100-kiloliter system. Boson White Water's approach aims to make recycled water suitable for various purposes, including drinking, and they offer a sustainable solution for water management in urban areas.
