All categories Community Collective Leisure
Collective Leisure collaborates with the local government, health districts, schools, and other key organizations for co-designing and delivering all-inclusive activities related to sports, recreation, and well-being, as needed by underserved groups within the communities. They work together in New South Wales toward reducing health inequity and the promotion of well-being among children, young people, older citizens, and people living with a disability. Their programs respond to different cultures and are easy to engage with. Besides the community programs, Collective Leisure creates sports and recreation sector employment pathways for marginalized groups in society—for instance, refugees and asylum seekers. They offer training and work experience opportunities available for sports coaches, swim teachers, pool lifeguards, and bike instructors. As a Social Traders Certified Social Enterprise and a member of the Social Enterprise Council NSW & ACT, Collective Leisure reinvests at least 50 percent of their profit back into their mission to create health and well-being outcomes that are fair and equitable.
