Community Capacity Builders is an autistic-owned and led social enterprise that supports social entrepreneurs, civic entrepreneurs, and scholar-practitioners in addressing complex social policy challenges. Through a project-based learning approach, they offer two key programs. The Community Leadership Program enables participants to engage with their community, identify pressing issues, and design collaborative capacity-building projects that address those issues. The Program for Systems Social Entrepreneurs helps participants develop or strengthen initiatives aimed at creating systems change and addressing complex, long-standing problems. Community Capacity Builders focuses on empowering individuals to contribute to positive social impact, with all surplus funds reinvested into social entrepreneurship, systems change research, development, and advocacy. They are a member of the South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC) and a signatory of the Autism Friendly Charter, underscoring their commitment to inclusivity and community empowerment.
