Recognized by the National Aquatic Development Authority and Ministry of Fisheries, the company is committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact. Cultura Ceylon empowers local women by offering flexible working hours, transportation support, boarding facilities, and land for subsistence farming and supplemental income. The company also employs women as senior technical leads.

The facility operates on solar energy and is designed to minimize energy use, water consumption, and waste, working towards achieving Carbon Neutral and Zero Waste certifications.
