Ellawala Organic

Ellawala Organic specializes in producing organic certified TJC mangoes and a variety of other fruits, all cultivated in Sri Lanka's dry zone. The founder spent years developing the TJC mango, an export-quality fruit adapted to local conditions. Their Rajarata farm has a registered grade one nursery that has propagated over 50,000 TJC mango plants, alongside other fruit varieties. These plants are distributed to local farmers through a buy-back agreement, ensuring sustainable practices and quality products. Ellawala Organic also plays an educational role by providing free seedlings for school garden programs.

The Ellawala herbal garden cultivates over 100 varieties of plants used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, further promoting sustainable agriculture and plant diversity. The company’s efforts support local communities, encourage environmental sustainability, and foster a deeper connection with Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural heritage.
