Hushele manufactures natural herbal hair and skin care products, generating rural livelihoods in Sri Lanka. The list of products includes hair masks, hair creams, scrubs, skin packs, serums, and many more from virgin coconut oil, black gram, mung, sesame, aloe vera, amla, tulsi, turmeric, coffee, and other local ingredients. The company sources its raw materials from its own land in Nochiyagama and home gardeners in Kosgama, Kundasale, and Polonnaruwa. Hushele dehydrates with solar dehydrators and packs products in biodegradable or recyclable material to save energy and waste. They also conduct awareness about the endemic butterflies of Sri Lanka. Being a member of the Green Movement of Sri Lanka, Hushele is deeply committed to issues of sustainability and environmental responsibility, ensuring that all products are not only good for customers but also for local communities and the ecosystems in which they live.
