JB Ecotex sources post-consumer PET bottles from municipal waste streams, recycling centers, and waste collectors. These bottles are collected, sorted, and transported to their recycling facilities. The collected PET waste is sorted based on color, size, and type of plastic to ensure that only high-quality raw materials are used for production. The PET bottles are thoroughly washed to remove contaminants such as labels, caps, and leftover liquids. After cleaning, the bottles are shredded into small flakes. The clean, shredded PET flakes are prepared for further processing through a drying process, which ensures they are ready for melting and extrusion.
