PlantAMillionTrees.org.in is an ambitious green initiative by YTDS, rooted in Pune and rapidly expanding across India. Since 2018, the campaign has planted over 150,000+ trees with an exceptional 97% survival rate, making a tangible impact on climate change, air quality, and urban greenery.

Our Tree Plantation Approach
Plant a Million Trees follows a structured, impact-focused approach to afforestation and tree plantation projects.
1. Site Assessment & Planning We evaluate the plantation site, available space, soil conditions, water availability, local climate, and project objectives before developing the plantation plan.
2. Native Species Selection Tree species are selected according to local ecological conditions, biodiversity requirements, and long-term sustainability. Where suitable, we also implement dense plantation methods such as Miyawaki forests.
3. Plantation Execution Our team coordinates site preparation, sapling procurement, plantation activities, and participation from corporate employees, volunteers, institutions, and local communities.
4. Post-Plantation Maintenance Plantation is only the beginning. We focus on watering, mulching, replacement of unsuccessful saplings, protection, and ongoing maintenance to improve long-term survival.
5. Monitoring & Documentation Projects can include geo-tagging, plantation records, photographs, progress updates, and impact documentation to help CSR and institutional partners track project outcomes.
6. Long-Term Environmental Impact Our approach is designed to create sustainable green cover, improve biodiversity, support climate action, and contribute to healthier urban and rural ecosystems.

And we haven’t stopped since & till date planted & influenced States & Industries & individuals to plant more then a million trees by creating Miyawaki forests across India. At our Not for Profit Foundation, Enviro Creators Foundation, We are now driven with a single Mission :10 Crore trees by 2025. And help Mother nature restore the ecosystem & try & make this world a better place for our future generations.
