They foster tea transparency and provenance by directly connecting tea drinkers with tea farmers committed to ethical and sustainable practices. Tea Rebellion partners with smallholders and cooperatives in Malawi, Kenya, Nepal, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Japan. They pay premium rates and donate to social and environmental projects in their partner farming communities. Teas are available loose leaf and in compostable pyramid bags with plastic-free packaging.
