The Santaceptor

The Santaceptor is a unique community fundraiser in Bury, blending festive fun with charitable giving. During the Christmas season, PC Claus travels in a customized police interceptor vehicle, delivering treats to local children. Volunteers and sponsors collect donations along the way, which are directed towards a selected local charity. The Santaceptor ensures that all families, regardless of financial status, can join in the celebrations, creating an inclusive and joyous atmosphere. The initiative aims to inspire positive behavior, forge unforgettable memories for children, and foster community spirit.

Additionally, by transitioning to hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) fuel and electric vehicles, the Santaceptor has successfully reduced carbon emissions by 95%. As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), all surplus funds are reinvested into the chosen charity. The Santaceptor is a member of Social Enterprise UK and remains committed to both social and environmental responsibility.
