The organization supports others by engaging with small nonprofits that do basic skills training such as public speaking, grant writing, project management, budgeting, documentation, and report writing. Ensuring the community plays a huge role in their projects, CLISSD facilitates the objective of being active players who also gather their own resources. For example, woman can fetch seeds for planting and then give it back to the organization at the time of harvest so that others can benefit from them. Furthermore, women can receive training to produce personal, saleable, or reusable sanitary pads for deployment. CLISSD, which is registered in the two countries of Cameroon and the United States of America, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation.
