Baume Essentials is a Swedish label making lingerie, underwear, loungewear and activewear for women. The range includes thongs, high-cut briefs, shorts, bralettes and leggings. The pieces are meant to work across a whole day, from the office to an evening run. Two sisters, Michaela and Denise, started the brand to give more care to the garments worn closest to the skin. The main fabric is Tencel Lyocell. The materials are OEKO-TEX certified, and the brand says its fibres are FSC and PEFC certified. Production takes place in Portugal in small batches, with a European supply chain, and the brand says it discloses every component. Good On You rates Baume Essentials Great overall: Great for Planet and Good for People.
