The campaign aims to spread awareness about the urgent need to reduce carbon emissions and limit global warming to 1.5°C pre-industrial levels, as the Paris Agreement demands, and for individuals to take action. Overconsumption of non-sustainable fashion products plays a massive role in global warming. An essential part of a 1.5 degrees lifestyle is taking note of consumption. With this wearable message, we want to inspire individuals to take climate action, embrace low-impact practices, and implement a 1.5 degrees lifestyle. Together, we can create a world where future generations thrive. The Limited Edition T-shirt featuring the 1.5 Degrees logo is a message to inspire change. By wearing one, anyone can become an advocate for a sustainable future. Our T-shirts are made of 50% Organic Cotton and 50% of Texloop™. Texloop™ Recycling upgrades post-industrial as well as pre/post-consumer cotton textile waste into high-performing RCOT™ recycled cotton fibre, which is recognised as the highest-quality and most consistent recycled cotton fibre in the global market. ASK Scandinavia
ASK Scandinavia is a premium accessories label based in Helsinki. It designs bags and accessories, including totes, shoulder bags, travel bags and baby changing bags, with a clean, sculptural Nordic look meant to outlast seasonal trends. The brand started from a need for more sustainably made changing bags that it could not find on the market. Production takes place in Europe with trusted partners. The brand says all its materials are cruelty-free, traceable and certified, and its founder has used materials such as ECONYL and MIRUM in accessories. Each product has a digital ID, described as blockchain-powered, that verifies origin and authenticity, shows material composition and care information, and makes resale easier. The brand won Recycle the Runway by Global Fashion Agenda. Good On You rates ASK Scandinavia Great overall. It scores the brand Good for planet and people and Great for animals, noting that the whole range is vegan. It also notes that most of the supply chain is traced, that more than half of final production is SMETA audited, and that some workers in final production are paid living wages.
