SCATHED is a gothic womenswear label based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It makes dark, romantic pieces such as gowns, dresses and harnesses. Local artisans handle every stage of production, from design through to finishing, inside the brand's own studio, working in small batches. Collections come out twice a year, with only three of each design made in each size, and every order is made to order, usually within two to three weeks. On materials, the brand uses Desserto cactus leather in place of animal leather. It also uses recycled polyester, organic bamboo cotton and organic cotton from a certified textile maker that runs on solar power, as well as eco-tulle made from recycled ocean plastic.
