The belts have flat buckles and contain no metal, so they do not set off airport scanners. The brand also sells upcycled accessories such as hair ties and wet/dry bags, along with clothing care and repair items. The belts are made in the company's studio in Edmonton. Unbelts says its supply chain pays living wages all the way through and that its suppliers use recycled input materials, including yarn made from recycled water bottles.
