Best of Berberine

Best of Berberine is a capsule supplement from HUM Nutrition containing 1,200 mg of berberine per daily serving, extracted from the root of the barberry plant, together with BioPerine, a patented black pepper extract that HUM includes to aid absorption. The recommended use is two capsules daily with a meal; people with sensitive stomachs can start with one capsule twice a day with food. The capsules are yellow and can vary slightly in shade because berberine is naturally coloured. HUM says its formulas are gluten-free and non-GMO, contain no artificial colours, sweeteners, flavours or preservatives, and are made without titanium dioxide, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup or EDTA, in facilities that follow FDA-required GMP standards. HUM advises checking with a healthcare provider before starting it if you take prescription medication.
