Minus Degre makes these black marble-effect coasters by collecting old plastic buckets and food containers, cleaning them, and heating and melting the plastic into a flat, solid sheet. The set contains four round coasters, each 3.5 inches in diameter, for resting mugs or glasses on. The brand describes the material as sturdy and resistant to water and stains, and says every set is bespoke, with raw colour effects that mean no two are identical.
