We recently bought Qudrat biodegradable plates, excited to see if they live up to their eco-friendly claims. This is our review based on the our own experiences.

These plates are made from bagasse and other agricultural waste, which sounded promising. Right out of the package, they felt sturdy and of good quality.

Putting Them to the Test

We decided to test them by using the plates for our morning breakfast. They performed well, holding up for about 30 minutes before starting to get a bit soggy. It was a reasonable performance, considering they're designed to break down naturally. We also found that for dry foods, the plates could be used multiple times, which was a nice bonus.

Composting Experience

One of Qudrat’s biggest claims is their biodegradability, so we put it to the test. After breakfast, we shredded the plates and added them to our home compost in Bengaluru. To our surprise, the plates started breaking down after just one day and were completely biodegraded in five days. This quick breakdown confirmed their eco-friendly promise and impressed us.
