This 6L pouch of VeganDay Coconut Milk Base is a powder you blend with water at home to make fresh coconut milk, so you are not paying to ship water; the brand points out that pre-packed plant milks are more than 90% water. Add one full scoop or three teaspoons of the base per glass of water and blend for 60 seconds in a mixer-grinder or with a hand blender; use half the water for coconut cream. The prepared milk contains water, coconut milk powder, coconut oil, coconut fat powder, sunflower lecithin, di potassium phosphate and vitamins B12 and D, with no added sugar, preservatives or colours according to the brand. The pouch is shelf-stable for 6 months from manufacture; once opened, use within 60 days and refrigerate prepared milk for up to 3 to 4 days.
