As We Are Now
As We Are Now, also called AWAN, is a women-owned label making comfort-focused womenswear. It describes its clothes as modular, low-effort pieces for busy women. The range includes dresses, shirts, trousers and jumpsuits, and the wrap dress is its bestseller. The brand uses a single fibre, Tencel lyocell, for its garments, which it presents as plastic-free and designed with circularity in mind. Production takes place in Portugal, and the label sells some collections through preorder campaigns. Good On You rates As We Are Now Good overall: Good for planet, It's a Start for people and Good for animals. It notes that the brand uses a high proportion of lower-impact materials, limits its production runs and traces most of its supply chain. Good On You also found no evidence of a Code of Conduct, living wage commitments or action to reduce packaging. The brand does not appear to use animal-derived materials.
