Large Washbag | Fire-hose

₹12,070.99

Ready for every adventure The Elvis & Kresse Large Washbag is made from genuine decommissioned fire-hose and lined with waste parachute silk. Previously deployed in active duty for up to 25 years, fighting fires around the UK, fire-hose makes a perfect wash bag. Strong enough to tackle the toughest conditions first time around, the hose has been re-engineered to protect your toiletries – the hose itself is obviously waterproof, protecting what’s inside but perhaps more importantly protecting what’s outside from leaky shampoo bottles and exploding toothpaste tubes.. Chosen as one of the best washbags by The Independent. What can you fit in there? It's a large washbag so you can fit pretty much anything you like but this is what Elvis takes: Tooth brush, toothpaste, razor, shaving brush and cream, soap, shampoo, hairbrush and nail clippers. Kresse manages to cram it a little fuller with some conditioner and moisturizer and obviously loses the shaving kit but you get the picture… If you choose the personalisation option, this is achieved by laser etching directly into the fire-hose. We recommend not more than 20 characters. The font used is Times New Roman.

Elvis & Kresse

Elvis & Kresse is a UK brand that makes bags, belts, wallets, travel goods and other accessories from reclaimed materials. Its main materials are decommissioned London fire-hoses and rescued leather. The range includes crossbody bags, totes, backpacks, briefcases and wash bags for women and men. The brand is built on three pillars: rescue, transform and donate. It gives 50 percent of its profits to charity, including the Fire Fighters Charity. In 2021 it moved its operations to a farm in Kent to work regeneratively. There it built a straw bale workshop powered by renewables, created a wetland system to treat its own wastewater and is setting up a vineyard that prioritises soil and biodiversity. Elvis & Kresse is a certified B Corp. Good On You rates it Great overall, with Great for planet and people and Good for animals. The rating notes that pieces are made in-house by a small team and that final-stage workers are paid a living wage. It also says the leather and any other animal materials the brand uses are recycled before ever reaching consumers.
