Aster & Oak is a family-owned children's label from Western Australia. It makes organic cotton baby clothes, kidswear, wraps, sleeping bags, bedding and gift sets. Its founder Melissa started the brand after struggling to find natural, allergy-friendly clothing for her son's eczema-prone skin. Local artists hand-illustrate each collection. The brand's garments are GOTS certified, made from organic fibres and coloured with low-impact dyes, with no toxic chemicals. Aster & Oak says it controls each collection from design through manufacture and tests pieces for durability so they can be handed down.
