The cotton comes from farms in Odisha, India, and the brand says each purchase supports 432 indigenous cotton farmers there. Vottera was started by the team behind the bag brand Terra Thread. Its approach centres on regenerative organic farming, which it says improves soil health, keeps more carbon in the ground and benefits farming communities.
