Boldwill

Boldwill is a Dutch sportswear brand that used to be called Iron Roots. It makes activewear for men and women, including hoodies, joggers, T-shirts, shorts and natural rubber sports socks. The brand wants to offer an alternative to sportswear made mostly from synthetics such as polyester and nylon. Boldwill uses materials of natural origin wherever it can. It admits that fully plastic-free sportswear is not yet possible and describes its approach as a gradual move toward that goal, which it calls Natural Progression. It cites a high share of lower-impact materials, durable products, renewable energy in the supply chain and plastic-free packaging. It also notes that the brand traces most of its supply chain, has a Code of Conduct and ensures that some final-stage workers are paid living wages.
