Inspired by the pietra dura of Agra's Mughal architecture, Marble Inlay brings the artistry of Shah Jahan's craftsmen to your wedding invitation. Be-jeweled elephants flank the card, intricate inlay patterns frame the content, and turquoise accents run through the design like the semi-precious stones in the original marble work. This is heritage art on handmade paper. The 8-inch square book fold format gives the artwork the space it deserves. Every card is handcrafted from seed paper made using upcycled cotton textile waste in our solar-powered workshop in Agra. After the celebrations, plant the card and watch basil, marigolds, or wildflowers grow.
