All sectors / Learning & education / Play More
Play More is an energetic group dedicated to empowering learning through play. They hold various activities that have increased development in children in creativity, exploration, and discovery. Activities include mini markets, messy play sessions, cardboard creation projects, tinkering time, and loose parts play using recycled or repurposed items that families can attend. Community involvement, according to Play More, is key. This is reflected in the fact that families can either book one-off playdates or be a monthly partner who helps to share ideas, resources, and skills. This pay-as-can structure ensures all offerings are inclusive and accessible, promoting a model related to citizenship as opposed to consumerism. By putting process before product and development before management, Play More creates a nurturing space where personal growth is valued just as much as community engagement. It is because of their desire to be sustainable and inclusive that they have become such a valuable asset for many families seeking purposeful play.
