Purchasing with Purpose is a network-based organization that empowers individuals and organizations to source from enterprises that prioritize both people and the planet. In a diverse and vast country like the United States, the movement for a new economy has emerged from various grassroots initiatives, each with its own terminology and networks. Purchasing with Purpose acts as a network of networks, enabling collaboration, amplifying visibility, and opening new opportunities that no single entity could achieve alone. The organization helps purpose-driven individuals and organizations preferentially source from verified, responsible businesses and works with government, businesses, and anchor institutions to update procurement policies. They also support local networks in building resilient economies that focus on sustainability and social responsibility. As a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit, Purchasing with Purpose reinvests all surplus into advancing its mission of creating a more equitable, sustainable economy.
