Aquatron India is based in Hyderabad and provides unique odorless and sludge-free STP solutions in India based on instant removal of faecal matter using Aquatron. Since 2018, more than 100 comprehensive STP installations have been set up around India and there are another 50 in progress at diverse sites ranging from individual houses, schools and offices to hospitals, factories, large IT buildings and many more. Since faecal matter doesn't go beyond Aquatron and there is no mixing of solid and liquid, septic smell and sludge are replaced by odourless natural composting. Aquatron based STPs are capable of achieving PCB-standard water treatment with comparably uncomplicated equipment, low maintenance requirements and 30-75% less power consumption than conventional systems. The modular nature of Aquatron based STP solutions makes them suitable for sites of almost all types and sizes from 1 KLD to the MLD range.
The company aims to address water scarcity and contamination challenges by offering innovative products and systems that promote water conservation and purification.
Aquatron utilizes a patented separator system that separates solid waste from liquid waste using gravitational force, without any moving parts, water, or chemicals. This system ensures that liquids and solids are processed differently, reducing the need for water in the treatment process. After separation, the solid waste is directed to a composting chamber where it undergoes aerobic composting. Microorganisms naturally break down the waste, turning it into nutrient-rich compost over time. The liquid waste is directed through a filtration system where it is treated and can be safely disposed of or reused. The process removes harmful pathogens and contaminants from the wastewater. The entire system operates without the need for electricity, and it is designed to minimize environmental impact. This makes Aquatron suitable for off-grid locations or areas with limited infrastructure. The system includes natural ventilation and odor control mechanisms, ensuring that the composting process remains hygienic and odor-free.
