BENDL’s sustainable belts are crafted using upcycled materials, primarily discarded leather that would otherwise go to waste. Their process involves carefully sourcing these materials from factories, workshops, and production remnants. By doing so, they significantly reduce the environmental impact of leather waste. All products are handmade in the Netherlands. Where it once started in a shed at home, there is now cooperation with a social workshop and local suppliers on the entire production. The coolest and handmade creations from residual material are worked on in complete high-quality craftsmanship and a unique finish for every product.The brand reduces its carbon footprint by using existing materials and employing low-impact production methods. Due to the upcycling process, no two belts are identical, giving each item a distinct character.
