Bus Stop Films is a pioneering not-for-profit organization committed to making the film industry accessible and inclusive. They offer a 40-week Accessible Filmmaking Program across various Australian cities, providing participants with hands-on experience in film production. The program includes exclusive workplace opportunities, excursions, mentoring with industry professionals, and collaborative film projects. To date, Bus Stop Films has produced over 65 short films, winning more than 100 awards and reaching audiences exceeding 45 million people worldwide. Their advocacy extends to providing training workshops like "Inclusion in Action," aimed at educating the screen industry on engaging and employing individuals with disabilities.
