The process involves injecting hydrogels into the upper 3 inches of soil, ensuring they are positioned at the root level. These non-toxic hydrogels remain effective for up to three years. After installation, the area is irrigated normally for about two weeks, allowing the hydrogels to absorb and store water. Once saturated, the hydrogels gradually release moisture back into the soil as needed, maintaining consistent hydration for the turf. This technology reduces irrigation frequency and volume by up to 50% while promoting healthy, green grass. Additionally, the hydrogels enhance soil structure and nutrient availability, contributing to robust turf growth.
