Regenerative Organic Certified® is a high-bar agricultural standard overseen by the Regenerative Organic Alliance (ROA), a non-profit founded by industry leaders including Patagonia, Dr. Bronner’s, and the Rodale Institute. Established in 2017, the certification was created to go beyond the baseline of USDA Organic by integrating three core pillars: Soil Health, Animal Welfare, and Social Fairness. It aims to rehabilitate soil, sequester carbon, and improve the lives of farmers and farm workers globally. The framework operates on a tiered system—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—allowing farms to demonstrate continuous improvement in regenerative practices over time. By prohibiting soilless systems and synthetic inputs while mandating fair wages and humane treatment of livestock, ROC provides a verifiable path for brands and consumers to support a truly regenerative food and textile system that heals the planet while ensuring equitable livelihoods for those who steward the land.

Supply Chain Traceability: Enforcing strict chain-of-custody requirements to ensure that the ROC label on a final product represents 100% certified regenerative ingredients.
