Method and technique
They use biodegradable polymers such as polylactic acid (PLA) derived from corn starch, poly hydroxy alkanoates (PHA) from microbial fermentation, or other plant-based materials. The biodegradable polymers and additives are blended to create a uniform mixture. If recycled materials are used, they are cleaned, processed, and mixed with the biodegradable components.The blended material is often formed into pellets for easier handling during the extrusion process.The pellets are fed into an extruder where they are melted at high temperatures.The molten material is extruded through a flat die or blown into a film, forming a continuous sheet of plastic. The film is rapidly cooled using chill rolls or air to solidify its structure. The film may be stretched (oriented) in one or both directions to improve its mechanical properties such as strength and elasticity. The film is cut into sheets or rolls of the desired size. The film is cut into individual bag shapes and sealed using heat sealing, which bonds the edges together to form bags.
