Sierra Energy is a California-based company specializing in FastOx® gasification, an advanced waste-to-energy technology that transforms municipal solid waste, biomass, and hazardous materials into clean, renewable energy without combustion. By using steam and oxygen, the process breaks down waste at the molecular level, producing syngas, which can be converted into hydrogen, electricity, diesel, and other sustainable fuels. The company aims to eliminate landfills and promote environmental sustainability by providing efficient and scalable waste management solutions. Sierra Energy has collaborated with organizations like the U.S. Army and the California Energy Commission to establish a commercial demonstration facility at Fort Hunter Liggett, where post-recycled waste is converted into valuable energy resources. With ongoing research at the Sierra Energy Research Park, the company continues to innovate and expand the applications of its technology, contributing to the global transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
