Nudea is a UK underwear and sleepwear brand designed by women. It makes bras, bralettes, briefs, thongs, boxers and pyjamas from natural and recycled materials, including organic cotton. Bras come in a wide range of band and cup sizes. Founder Priya Downes says she wanted to build a brand that offers reliable everyday underwear made with care for the planet. Every Nudea product page lists the item's cradle-to-grave carbon footprint in kg CO2e. Its partner Vaayu calculates these figures through a life-cycle assessment. The brand encourages customers to buy less, wash with care and dispose of garments responsibly. It holds B Corp and Global Recycled Standard certifications. Good On You rates Nudea Good overall: Good for planet and It's a Start for people. It noted the brand's use of recycled materials, clothing recycling for customers, renewable energy in the supply chain, and recyclable packaging. It also found that final production takes place in countries with extreme risk of labour abuse and saw no evidence of living wages.
