Method and technique
Urbyn focuses on separating waste streams at the source, which simplifies recycling and ensures higher recovery rates. This process involves educating clients on properly sorting materials like plastics, paper, metal, glass, and organic waste. A key technique used by Urbyn is implementing the circular economy model, where waste is seen as a resource. They work with clients to identify opportunities to reuse materials, reduce waste generation, and close the loop by turning waste into new products. Urbyn collaborates with a network of local recycling partners and facilities that specialize in different types of materials. This technique ensures that waste is processed efficiently, minimizing transportation emissions and boosting local recycling efforts. They employ smart waste collection technologies, including IoT-enabled bins that monitor waste levels and optimize pickup schedules. This reduces unnecessary trips, saving fuel and lowering carbon emissions. Urbyn uses data analytics to conduct waste audits for businesses. By tracking and analyzing waste generation patterns, Urbyn can identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and develop custom waste reduction strategies for clients. They are maximizing the amount of material that can be recycled or reused. This includes working with businesses to implement practices such as composting organic waste or recovering valuable materials from e-waste. Urbyn offers consultancy services that focus on implementing sustainable waste practices within organizations. They provide employee training to ensure compliance with waste sorting guidelines and foster a culture of sustainability.
