Boldwill
Netherlands
Boldwill is a Dutch sportswear brand that used to be called Iron Roots. It makes activewear for men and women, including hoodies, joggers, T-shirts, shorts and natural rubber sports socks. The brand wants to offer an alternative to sportswear made mostly from synthetics such as polyester and nylon. Boldwill uses materials of natural origin wherever it can. It admits that fully plastic-free sportswear is not yet possible and describes its approach as a gradual move toward that goal, which it calls Natural Progression. Good On You notes the use of Tencel Lyocell and Modal and lists Bluesign among its certifications. Good On You rates Boldwill Great overall, with Great scores for both Planet and People. It cites a high share of lower-impact materials, durable products, renewable energy in the supply chain and plastic-free packaging. It also notes that the brand traces most of its supply chain, has a Code of Conduct and ensures that some final-stage workers are paid living wages.

Akyn
Womenswear
AKYN is a contemporary luxury womenswear label from the UK, launched by designer Amy Powney. Collections are built on denim and core wardrobe staples, alongside dresses, knitwear, wool coats and tailoring designed to be worn across seasons. The brand works with four main fibres: organic, recycled or regenerative cotton; non-mulesed wool; European flax linen; and TENCEL Lyocell. It traces its supply chain from fibre to finished garment and keeps long-term relationships with manufacturers, whom it visits regularly. Most pieces are made in Portugal, and some limited-run styles are produced at its atelier in east London. Good On You rates AKYN Good overall. It scores the brand Good for planet, citing organic cotton, plastic-free packaging and low-impact dyes, and Good for animals. People is rated It's a Start, as Good On You found no evidence of living wages in the supply chain.

Not Basics (formerly Pantee)
United Kingdom
Not Basics is a UK label making everyday women's basics from certified organic cotton. The range includes leggings, bodysuits, T-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts. The pieces are made for people who want to stop wearing synthetic fabrics like polyester and nylon, especially people with sensitive skin or sensory needs. The brand says two sisters started it. One lives with severe skin allergies and the other with sensory sensitivity. The business began as Pantee, which made underwear from deadstock T-shirts, before it changed its name to Not Basics. Its fabrics are OCS-certified organic cotton, and the brand says about 80 percent of its styles are GOTS certified. Labels are either printed or made from fabric offcuts, and tops are double-lined or cut from heavier cotton so they are not see-through. Good On You rates Not Basics Good overall: It's a Start for planet, and Good for people and animals. It found that the brand partly traces its supply chain and does not appear to use animal-derived materials. It also found no evidence of a Code of Conduct or of living wages being paid in the supply chain.

CasaGIN
Italy
CASAGiN is an Italian brand that makes underwear, loungewear and accessories for women and men. It works mainly with natural fibres, including organic cotton, linen, TENCEL, organic merino and wool fleece. The range covers briefs, tank tops, pyjamas, knitwear, socks, hats, swimwear, period underwear and wool fleece jackets. The brand says it avoids plastic and sells its clothing as made in Italy. Good On You confirms that all final production takes place in Italy. It also reports that the brand traces most of its supply chain and audits part of it. Good On You rates CASAGiN Good overall. Its planet score is Great, supported by lower-impact materials such as Tencel Modal, action on transport emissions, closed-loop water systems and no plastic packaging. The brand holds Global Recycled Standard and bluesign certifications. Good On You notes that there is no evidence of a Code of Conduct or an animal welfare policy. It also notes the brand uses small amounts of wool and cashmere.
Printfresh
United States
Printfresh is a US sleepwear and lifestyle brand for women, known for bright, unusual prints. It sells pajama sets, nightgowns, robes, apparel and bags. Sizes run from XS to 6X. The brand grew out of Printfresh Studio, a textile design house, and began as a stationery label before launching sleepwear in 2019. Sustainability and size-inclusivity became core parts of the brand after the sleepwear launch. Many of its pajamas are made from organic cotton, and it also uses fabrics such as organic Pima modal. Good On You notes that Printfresh uses renewable energy in its supply chain, cuts fabric with low-waste techniques and uses recycled packaging. Good On You rates Printfresh Good overall. It scores Good for planet and animals, since the brand does not appear to use animal-derived materials. For people it scores It's a Start: most suppliers are audited, but there is no evidence that living wages are paid in its supply chain.
