BAM worked with life cycle analysts Green Story to measure the impact of its garments against conventional cotton equivalents, covering emissions, water use and pesticide use. The brand says it traces its supply chain back to raw materials and ships most goods by sea or road rather than by air. It describes its garments as PFAS-free, recyclable and traceable, and it publishes annual impact reports and social reports. It reports that the brand uses renewable energy in its supply chain, avoids plastic packaging and offers resale of secondhand items.
