Shop Like You Give A Damn
https://www.shoplikeyougiveadamn.com/
Shop Like You Give A Damn is an online multi-brand shop that sells only vegan fashion and footwear for women and men. It carries more than 25,000 items from about 230 brands, including sneakers, knitwear, boots, jeans, coats and bags. Sellers include Kings of Indigo, KOMODO, Solari Milano, NAE and Recolution. The shop screens every brand on five values: veganism, worker pay and workplace safety, materials and production, inclusivity, and social enterprise. To check that products are vegan, it reviews each brand's website, sends questionnaires on materials and production, and holds a video call before taking a brand on. Staff also check each product by hand as it is added. This covers components such as dyes, glues, prints, linings and buttons. The shop does not call its products sustainable. It says it cannot promise fair fashion, and it publishes how it screens brands and which certifications it treats as meaningful. It encourages customers to buy only what they need.

The Level Collective
United Kingdom
The Level Collective is a small, independent British brand. It makes waxed cotton backpacks and organic cotton clothing for both city and outdoor use. Its range includes roll-top and day packs, organic cotton T-shirts and a reproofing spray. The backpacks are made to order by hand in Britain from organic waxed cotton by Halley Stevensons, chrome-free leather and recycled wool. Each one is signed by its maker. The T-shirts are 100% organic cotton, printed in Britain with water-based inks. Designer Mark Musgrave founded the brand in 2014 to offer an alternative to fast fashion, based on fair pay and craft. Good On You rates the brand Good overall. It scores 4 out of 5 for planet, 4 for people and 3 for animals. Good On You cites Fair Wear Foundation certification for part of its supply chain, local manufacturing and packaging that avoids plastic. It also notes that the brand uses leather and wool and that there is no evidence of living wages.
LANIUS
Germany
LANIUS is a family-run fashion company based in Cologne. Claudia Lanius started it in 1999 and is still its designer, and she now runs it with her daughter Annabelle Homann. The brand designs two slow fashion collections a year, mainly for women, including trousers, knitwear, blouses, jackets and denim made from natural and certified materials. LANIUS is GOTS-certified and a member of the IVN. It mostly uses organic materials, alongside TENCEL and recycled polyester and polyamide. The wool it uses is mulesing-free, and its vegan pieces carry PETA-Approved Vegan certification. The company says its producers hold certifications such as GOTS, amfori BSCI and SA8000, or are audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. It also offers care, repair and resale services. Good On You rates LANIUS Good overall. Its planet score is Great, reflecting published material data, lower-impact materials, efforts to cut transport emissions and recycled packaging. Its people score is Good, although there is no evidence of living wages. Its animals score is It's a Start: the brand uses leather, wool, cashmere and alpaca, and Good On You says it has not verified the mulesing-free policy.

ARTICLE22
United States
ARTICLE22 is a US for-profit social enterprise selling jewelry and home goods handmade by artisans in Laos. Its first collection, PEACEBOMB, is made by Laotian craftspeople using metal scrap and shrapnel left over from the Vietnam War. Each piece supports MAG (Mines Advisory Group) in clearing unexploded ordnance. The brand says that growing sales allow artisans to create new designs, build their businesses and contribute more to clearance work. Founder Elizabeth Suda started the company after meeting villagers in Laos who melted US bombs into spoons. The brand reports customers in over 40 countries. Good On You rates ARTICLE22 Good overall and Great for people. It notes the brand's mission to improve social conditions in Laos, its tracing of most of its supply chain and living wages for final-stage workers. On the environment, Good On You credits its use of upcycled materials and limited production runs. The brand appears to use leather and has no evidence of an animal welfare policy, which gives it an animals score of It's a Start.
nae
Portugal
NAE is a vegan footwear brand based in Lisbon. It makes shoes for women and men, including loafers, derbies and sneakers, and also sells belts, socks, wallets and some apparel. The name stands for No Animal Exploitation, and the brand says every product is made without animal-derived materials. The shoes are handmade in small Portuguese workshops. They use plant-based and recycled materials, including cork, apple and pineapple-based materials, and are designed to last. PETA has certified the brand as vegan. Good On You rates NAE Great overall, with Great for planet and animals and Good for people. Good On You points to lower-impact materials, reuse of textile offcuts, long-lasting products, local manufacturing and recyclable packaging. It also notes partial supply chain tracing and audits that cover the full final production stage. Good On You found no evidence that workers in the supply chain are paid living wages.
