Australia
NICO is an Australian label making minimal bras, briefs, tops and kids' and baby pieces. It focuses on clean lines and everyday colours. Its fabrics include GOTS-certified organic cotton and Lenzing TENCEL Modal, and its Organic range is coloured using natural plant-dyeing methods. The brand calls itself Australia's first plant-dyed organic cotton underwear brand. Its Canberra team offers alterations and repairs in-house so garments last longer, and it also provides free virtual fittings. NICO says it is committed to transparency across its supply chain. Good On You rates NICO Good overall, with Good for planet and animals and It's a Start for people. It notes that the brand does not appear to use animal-derived materials, but that there is no evidence it ensures living wages or reduces its packaging.

Sorella Organics
Australia
Sorella Organics is an independent Australian label that makes sleepwear and loungewear for women, men and maternity, including breastfeeding-friendly pieces. It is owned by Jess, who lives in Brisbane, and orders ship from the brand's Brisbane studio. The collection is made in Australia, Fiji and India. The brand uses certified organic and fair trade cotton, and it says all of its products are vegan. It produces in small, slow runs so that it makes only what customers want, which helps cut textile waste. It often allows about twice the industry's usual time to fill orders so that sewers are not rushed. Its factory holds GOTS, WRAP and Oeko-Tex certifications, and its fabric is certified to GOTS, Fairtrade and Oeko-Tex. Good On You rates Sorella Organics Good overall: Good for planet, Not Good Enough for people and Great for animals. It notes the brand's organic cotton and limited production runs. It found no evidence of a Code of Conduct or of living wages being paid in the supply chain.

On the environmental side, it notes a high proportion of lower-impact materials such as organic cotton, limited production runs and manufacturing closer to home. It found no evidence that the brand works to reduce packaging. On labour, Good On You says WAWWA partly traces and audits its supply chain. It found no evidence of a Code of Conduct or of living wages being paid. The entire product range is vegan.

Outerknown
United States
Outerknown is a US clothing label for men and women. It describes itself as born in the ocean, and it makes relaxed, coast-inspired clothes such as shirts, sweaters, outerwear, loungewear and its well-known Blanket Shirt. Kelly Slater and John Moore co-founded the company. Outerknown uses a fiber policy and scorecard to decide which fibers count as preferred. Examples include organic and regenerative organic cotton, recycled cotton and nylon, hemp and responsible wool. The brand reports that preferred fibers made up 98% of its fiber use in 2024. Working with Bergman Rivera, it has helped convert 28 acres of farmland to regenerative organic practices. It also says it works with two B Corp Certified suppliers and that eight of its facilities run on renewable energy. On labor, the brand follows Fair Labor Association standards and has published a Fair Compensation Commitment. Its resale platform, Outerworn, has kept more than 1,800 garments out of landfill. Good On You rates Outerknown Good overall: Great for people and Good for planet and animals. Good On You also notes there is no evidence that living wages are paid across most of the supply chain.
LANIUS
Germany
LANIUS is a family-run fashion company based in Cologne. Claudia Lanius started it in 1999 and is still its designer, and she now runs it with her daughter Annabelle Homann. The brand designs two slow fashion collections a year, mainly for women, including trousers, knitwear, blouses, jackets and denim made from natural and certified materials. LANIUS is GOTS-certified and a member of the IVN. It mostly uses organic materials, alongside TENCEL and recycled polyester and polyamide. The wool it uses is mulesing-free, and its vegan pieces carry PETA-Approved Vegan certification. The company says its producers hold certifications such as GOTS, amfori BSCI and SA8000, or are audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. It also offers care, repair and resale services. Good On You rates LANIUS Good overall. Its planet score is Great, reflecting published material data, lower-impact materials, efforts to cut transport emissions and recycled packaging. Its people score is Good, although there is no evidence of living wages. Its animals score is It's a Start: the brand uses leather, wool, cashmere and alpaca, and Good On You says it has not verified the mulesing-free policy.
