The Jersey Good Business Charter is an initiative dedicated to promoting ethical business practices and celebrating companies that positively impact their communities and the environment in Jersey. Operating independently as a not-for-profit entity, the Charter sets standards for excellent business practices by focusing on ethics, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility. The Charter Mark is awarded to businesses that demonstrate adherence to these principles, encouraging transparency, accountability, and a holistic approach to business impact. Governed by a Board and advised by a Council, the Charter also provides resources and support to help businesses improve their ethical practices. By aligning with international standards such as ISO 26000 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Jersey Good Business Charter aims to create a community of businesses committed to making a difference, ultimately contributing to a better world through sustainable and responsible business activities.
