Soluna Holdings, Inc. is a leader in sustainable computing, transforming wasted renewable energy into valuable computing power. Approximately 30% of renewable energy is curtailed due to supply-demand mismatches, and Soluna solves this by deploying modular data centers at renewable power plants. These centers power high-performance computing tasks like AI processing, cryptocurrency mining, and data center hosting. Acquired by Mechanical Technology, Inc. in 2021, Soluna has since expanded its operations, now managing 75 MW of computing capacity, with an additional 405 MW in development. Their unique model supports renewable energy efficiency while generating revenue through computing services, including demand response solutions. By aligning energy consumption with renewable power availability, Soluna reduces energy waste and drives the adoption of clean energy solutions. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are shaping the future of sustainable computing, making digital operations more eco-friendly and efficient.
