Splash Social Enterprises is a Seattle-based social enterprise and an affiliate of Splash International, focused on improving access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) worldwide. Established to complement traditional nonprofit approaches, the organization designs, manufactures, and distributes durable, child-friendly handwashing and drinking water stations primarily for schools, healthcare facilities, and public institutions in low-resource settings. Its products emphasize long-term reliability, ease of maintenance, and behavior change to encourage consistent hygiene practices. Operating with a blended model that combines sales revenue, grants, and impact investment, Splash Social Enterprises reinvests earnings to expand its social impact rather than maximize profit. Through partnerships with governments, NGOs, and local manufacturers, the enterprise aims to strengthen WASH infrastructure sustainably while supporting healthier learning environments for children and communities globally.
