LANIUS
Germany
LANIUS is a family-run fashion company based in Cologne. Claudia Lanius started it in 1999 and is still its designer, and she now runs it with her daughter Annabelle Homann. The brand designs two slow fashion collections a year, mainly for women, including trousers, knitwear, blouses, jackets and denim made from natural and certified materials. LANIUS is GOTS-certified and a member of the IVN. It mostly uses organic materials, alongside TENCEL and recycled polyester and polyamide. The wool it uses is mulesing-free, and its vegan pieces carry PETA-Approved Vegan certification. The company says its producers hold certifications such as GOTS, amfori BSCI and SA8000, or are audited by the Fair Wear Foundation. It also offers care, repair and resale services. Good On You rates LANIUS Good overall. Its planet score is Great, reflecting published material data, lower-impact materials, efforts to cut transport emissions and recycled packaging. Its people score is Good, although there is no evidence of living wages. Its animals score is It's a Start: the brand uses leather, wool, cashmere and alpaca, and Good On You says it has not verified the mulesing-free policy.

Neem London
United Kingdom
Neem London is an independent UK menswear brand. It makes overshirts, jackets, shirts, trousers, merino T-shirts, blazers, socks and belts from recycled and regenerative fibres. Its materials include recycled Italian flannel and denim, traceable ZQ Merino wool, organic cotton and recycled leather. Through a take-back scheme, customers can send in old clothes of any brand and in any condition. Neem shreds and re-spins them into yarn for new overshirts, and customers earn store credit in return. Good On You rates Neem Good overall, giving it Great for planet, Good for animals and It's a Start for people. It cites the brand's slow fashion model, limited production runs, wool from non-mulesed sheep and recycled leather. It also notes there is no evidence of a Code of Conduct or of living wages in the supply chain. Neem holds Global Recycled Standard certification.

MINIMALIST
United States
MINIMALIST is a women's ready-to-wear collection designed by Tamara Davydova, the brand's founder and creative director. It includes tops, bottoms, dresses, jumpsuits and jackets, with timeless styles intended to keep their value for resale and, eventually, to be recycled. The fabrics are sourced in Europe. Its materials include TENCEL jersey, biodegradable elastic and water-soluble garment bags, certified under standards such as GRS, GOTS, FSC, bluesign and Oeko-Tex 100. Clothing is made in New York City's garment district and in Portugal. The brand says it chooses women-owned factories with strong working conditions. Good On You rates MINIMALIST Good overall. It scores Good for planet, noting that some textile offcuts are recycled and that products last a long time. The people score is It's a Start, with no evidence of a code of conduct or living wages. The animal score is Good, as the brand does not appear to use animal-derived materials.

Outerknown
United States
Outerknown is a US clothing label for men and women. It describes itself as born in the ocean, and it makes relaxed, coast-inspired clothes such as shirts, sweaters, outerwear, loungewear and its well-known Blanket Shirt. Kelly Slater and John Moore co-founded the company. Outerknown uses a fiber policy and scorecard to decide which fibers count as preferred. Examples include organic and regenerative organic cotton, recycled cotton and nylon, hemp and responsible wool. The brand reports that preferred fibers made up 98% of its fiber use in 2024. Working with Bergman Rivera, it has helped convert 28 acres of farmland to regenerative organic practices. It also says it works with two B Corp Certified suppliers and that eight of its facilities run on renewable energy. On labor, the brand follows Fair Labor Association standards and has published a Fair Compensation Commitment. Its resale platform, Outerworn, has kept more than 1,800 garments out of landfill. Good On You rates Outerknown Good overall: Great for people and Good for planet and animals. Good On You also notes there is no evidence that living wages are paid across most of the supply chain.

Beaumont Organic
United Kingdom
Beaumont Organic is a British label founded in 2008. It designs clothing for women in the UK and has it made in Europe. The range covers knitwear, dresses, shirts, trousers and outerwear, and Good On You notes that the brand also sells baby wear, homeware and accessories. Fabrics include GOTS certified organic cotton, linen, lyocell, British lambswool and recycled fibres. Every product page lists the fabrics, processes and suppliers used. The brand says it visits its factories regularly and that all of them are committed to paying a living wage. It also runs free repair and resale schemes to keep garments in use for longer. Good On You rates Beaumont Organic Good overall. It scores Great for Planet, thanks to lower-impact materials, production close to home and recyclable packaging. It scores Good for People but Not Good Enough for Animals, because the brand uses leather, wool and mohair and Good On You found no animal welfare policy.
