UNDERPROTECTION x I TRÅD MED VERDEN This year we are launching Underprotection Upcycled, a collection of upcycled one-of-a-kind accessories made in collaboration with ‘I Tråd Med Verden’ a socio-economic sewing room, for vulnerable women in Denmark. ‘I Tråd Med Verden’ have worked with our discarded Underprotection items and textiles, that for some reason no longer can be sold or used in our production, to give them new life through colourful and vibrant patchworks. The items are imperfectly perfect which is giving the collection charm and soul. Each item is handmade with love and care for our environment and people. Read more about the collaboration here. Underprotection

Underprotection is a Copenhagen-based label designing lingerie, loungewear, swimwear, period underwear and hosiery for women of all body types and sizes. Its collections pair bold colours and prints with an emphasis on comfort, and the brand ships worldwide. The company is a Certified B Corporation. Its fabrics include organic cotton, Tencel, and recycled polyester and wool. It also commits to keeping harmful chemicals and dyes out of its garments. The founders started the brand because lingerie and swimwear are rarely bought secondhand, so they wanted new products in these categories to be made with care. Good On You rates Underprotection Good overall: Great for planet, and Good for both people and animals. It points to the brand's choice of sea freight over air freight, low use of fibre blends, reused cardboard packaging and wool from non-mulesed sheep. Good On You also notes that it found no evidence of living wages being paid in the supply chain.
