The store gives priority to long-lasting products, natural and circular materials, and organic and regenerative farming. Founder and CEO Lucy Johnson set it up after running Green Salon, her sustainable lifestyle consultancy.

BAM is a UK clothing brand that makes activewear and outdoor wear for women and men. Its range includes leggings, yoga pants, base layers, jackets, socks and boxers, made with bamboo, organic cotton and other natural fibres. The brand is a certified B Corp. BAM worked with life cycle analysts Green Story to measure the impact of its garments against conventional cotton equivalents, covering emissions, water use and pesticide use. The brand says it traces its supply chain back to raw materials and ships most goods by sea or road rather than by air. It describes its garments as PFAS-free, recyclable and traceable, and it publishes annual impact reports and social reports. Good On You rates BAM Good overall: It's a Start for planet, It's a Start for people and Good for animals. It reports that the brand uses renewable energy in its supply chain, avoids plastic packaging and offers resale of secondhand items. Good On You also notes that final production takes place in countries with a high risk of labour abuse and that living wages are not ensured across most of the supply chain.

Earthkind is an online marketplace that sells sustainable and ethically made clothing and accessories from many labels. Its range includes tops, dresses, knitwear, activewear and accessories from brands such as Boyish Jeans, terrae and COSSAC. Its aim is to make sustainable fashion normal without giving up on style. Earthkind picks the brands it stocks by hand. It tags products by values such as organic, fair labour, vegan, recycled, artisanal, non-toxic, zero waste and supply chain transparency. Shoppers can use these tags to find items that match their priorities. The platform also reminds people that the clothes already in their wardrobe are the most sustainable option. For each order, Earthkind plants a tree through One Tree Planted in countries including the Philippines, Indonesia, India and Vietnam. It is a 1% for the Planet member. It says it removes unnecessary packaging and uses recycled materials for the packaging it keeps, and it lists carbon neutrality as a goal.

The shop screens every brand on five values: veganism, worker pay and workplace safety, materials and production, inclusivity, and social enterprise. To check that products are vegan, it reviews each brand's website, sends questionnaires on materials and production, and holds a video call before taking a brand on. Staff also check each product by hand as it is added. This covers components such as dyes, glues, prints, linings and buttons. The shop does not call its products sustainable. It says it cannot promise fair fashion, and it publishes how it screens brands and which certifications it treats as meaningful. It encourages customers to buy only what they need.

Mini Mioche makes clothing from GOTS-certified organic cotton for newborns, babies, toddlers, kids and teens, and also sells adult basics. The range covers tees, sweats, hoodies, rompers, sleepwear, dresses and school uniforms. According to the brand, around 95 percent of its core collection is knit, dyed, cut and sewn in Canada. Garments are made at factories within 30 km of its Toronto head office, which it says lowers its carbon impact. It uses only AZO-free dyes and avoids microplastics, PFAS, flame retardants, formaldehyde and plastic packaging. Socks are made in Italy and denim in Turkey. It also notes there is no evidence the brand ensures living wages across its supply chain.
