Anthurium luxurians is a rare aroid from the rainforests of Colombia, where the seller says it grows along streams, and Jiffy Plants sells it as a single plant with three to four leaves and a pot. Its leathery, deeply veined leaves have a rough texture with raised sections between the veins and darken from light green when young to a very deep green as they mature. The seller recommends bright, indirect light, a moist but not soggy mix of 20% potting soil, 30% perlite and 50% bark, humidity of around 80% and feeding three times a year at quarter strength. It is toxic to pets and people.
