Philodendron El Choco Red- Rare Plant

Philodendron 'El Choco Red' is a rare aroid with velvety, heart-shaped leaves whose new growth shows a deep red colour on the underside. Jiffy Plants says it is native to the rainforests of Colombia and Ecuador and usually stays compact, but it can develop a climbing habit with age, when a moss or coir pole for its aerial roots encourages larger leaves. The seller recommends bright, filtered light, since direct sun can scorch the velvet and fade the red undersides, along with 18-28°C, humidity of 60-80% and no misting directly on the leaves. This listing is a single plant with three to five leaves, supplied with a pot.
